Boromir sighed and closed his eyes. He should have given Faramir the job, so his younger brother could prove his qualities, and to spare Boromir from this torment. He imagined using the ring to save his city from the relentless hordes of Orcs from Mordor, and that was what frustrated him the most. His pride.

hmm...it's a bit short for my liking but it was well written. Ok! You can be boromir! Mind you, you will get killed off eventually!

RP Example:

Men and Elves stood in their positions on the battlements of Helm’s Deep. The sounds of a marching army moved closer and closer. Aragorn could see the terrified look on the men. Darkness and death surrounded the air. Aragorn approached Legolas and Gimli and stood beside them.

As lighting flashed and thunder sounded, Legolas said, "Your friends are with you, Aragorn." Aragorn smiled at this. But the marching and thumping suddenly grew louder and louder. Lightning flashed again, revealing a sea of Uruk-Hai. Then it suddenly began to rain. While the Uruk-hai army continued to march at the fortress, an Uruk-hai leader steped on a rock outcrop.

Aragorn then started commanding the elven troops. "Show them no mercy! For you shall receive none!" He said in the elven language. Aragorn could see the Uruk-hai leader raise his swords and command his army to stop with a terrifying animalic cry. The Uruks stopped and growled in anticipation of the upcoming battle and slaughter.

Then, an elder man lost his grip of the arrow, shooting at an Uruk-Hai. "Hold!" Aragorn said to the elves. The Uruk-hai army stopped their roaring and thumping. With a hollow groan, the Uruk that was shot collapsed to the ground. The other Uruk-hai bared their teeth and roared with anger. With a cry, the Uruk-hai leader thrusted his weapon in the air and the Uruk-hai army started charging.

"Prepare to fire!" Aragorn screamed. "Release the arrows!" He said then. A rain of arrows fell on the Uruk-Hai, killing many. More arrows were shot but the Uruks loaded the walls with ladders. Aragorn, the men and elves drew their swords. While the Uruk-Hai had started to climb the ladders, the War of the Ring had begun.

umm..ok its very well done however that could be a passage from the book but i don't have access to a book right now...it also isn't very original however I will give you the position of aragorn..
