**The Fellowship**

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,

Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,

Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,

One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne

In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,

One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

**Servants of the Dark Lord Sauron**

 Mulling Over It

A cold wind blew through the city of Mirkwood, causing several elves to shiver a bit and hurry on towards their homes. It seemed as if a storm was coming and no one wanted to be caught out in the rain. Legolas walked out in the streets, enjoying the relative calm. The palace was filled with guests over some occation that he knew nothing of. It was noisy and crowded so he had escaped to the now mostly empty streets. The quiet was calming. Exactly what he needed.

Soon he would travel to Gondor again. His feelings for this trip were mixed. On one hand, he would spend a month in the oppresive air of the city. He would have little time among the forests he so loved. However, he would be seeing Aragorn once more. This seemed enough good to outweigh the bad. Still, he had some reservations about the trip. But it was of no importance. He would go as he had promised. Besides, Gondor had improved immensily since Aragorn had taken control of the city. Perhaps there would at least be a decent sized garden for the elf to spend his spare time in. Aragorn understood the connection of elves with nature as he had been raised by them.

Legolas pushed thoughts of his upcoming trip from his mind. It was not good to mull over the things he could not change. Besides, it would be good to see Aragorn again. He sighed and leaned back a bit, looking skyward and watching as rain threatened
